Refund Policy

1. Statutory Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period) In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your enrolment within 30 days of your initial purchase without providing a reason.

  • Commencement of Services: If you request to begin tutoring sessions during this 30-day cooling-off period, you acknowledge that you are liable for the cost of any services already delivered up to the point of cancellation.

  • Method of Cancellation: To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us via a clear statement. Please direct all cancellation requests to admin@atolan.com.

2. Lesson Cancellations and Rescheduling To maintain the highest standards of educational delivery and respect the professional schedules of our tutors:

  • Standard Notice: Requests to cancel or reschedule a session must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Late Cancellations: Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and will be billed at the full session rate.

3. Digital Content and Specialised Resources Atolan Academy provides proprietary digital materials and academic resources.

  • Exclusion: Per UK consumer law, the right to a refund is waived once digital content (such as recorded modules or downloadable academic worksheets) has been accessed or downloaded, as the service is considered consumed upon delivery of the digital file.

4. Service Quality Guarantee We are committed to excellence. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a specific session, please contact our administration at admin@atolan.com within 48 hours of the lesson. We will conduct a formal review and, at our discretion, may offer a credit or a replacement session with an alternative tutor.

5. Termination of Services by Atolan Academy Atolan Academy reserves the right to terminate the provision of services to any user (student or parent/guardian) immediately and without notice under the following circumstances:

  • Code of Conduct: Any behaviour deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate toward our tutors or other students.

  • Academic Misconduct: Any attempt to engage a tutor in academic dishonesty or unauthorised use of Academy resources.

  • Non-Payment: Failure to settle outstanding invoices or maintain an active payment method on file.

  • Material Breach: Any violation of the terms outlined in this agreement. In the event of termination for cause, Atolan Academy reserves the right to retain any fees paid for sessions already delivered, and any pre-paid future sessions may be forfeited at the Academy's discretion.

6. Processing of Reimbursements Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request.

  • Transaction Method: Reimbursements will be issued via our secure payment processor (Stripe) to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Fees: No administrative fees will be applied to reimbursements processed within the statutory 30-day window.
